From the Mühlviertel to the world – and always staying down to earth
CHICO is a family business through and through. Rooted in the region and run with passion and commitment. When the first hammocks were manufactured in 1985, the team consisted of just five people. Today, there are significantly more employees working daily in Oepping to ensure that CHICO products find their way into gardens, living rooms, patios, and balconies all over the world. Perhaps even in your home? 😉
But being on the market for 40 years also means overcoming many challenges and surviving many crises. At CHICO, we've always persevered despite the many obstacles that have been thrown our way. We've never lost sight of what's essential: our values, our deep roots in the region, and our firm conviction that quality, durability, and sustainability define our products.
