Hammock frame "Siesta"

 MATERIAL

As a resource for our frame Siesta we have chosen high quality ash wood. Our wood grows in Upper Austria, Salzburg and the neighbouring Bavarian region. 
In addition to the great properties of ash wood (flexible, strong and resistant), it offers another huge advantage: the entire transport time from the forest to our factory takes about two hours, which means less CO²!
Furthermore, our wood grows in sustainably managed forests and is therefore "PEFC" certified.

 PRODUKT CARE

Wood is a natural material that constantly absorbs and releases moisture (shrinkage according to "RAL") depending on the moisture content of the local environment. Therefore furniture made of ash wood and also the hamock frame Siesta should not be exposed to extremely high or too low humidity (e.g. during the heating period).  
Otherwise the wood begins to work again, to warp, to show open glue joints or cracks.  

ATTENTION! In winter, make sure that you keep the frame Siesta, made of ash wood,  in a dry and frost-free place!

Outdoor use

When using in lawn, we recommend using an underlay beneath the base rails in order to avoid direct floor contact with the wood.
Due to intense exposure to sunlight it is possible that little cracks can arise.

The frame should be varnished again after a few years.
